Bush declared that Hezbollah shed the war and that "You will find destined to be a new electric power in the south of Lebanon".[361] From the aftermath of the conflict US President George Bush mentioned that Hezbollah was to blame for starting the war, and the group suffered a defeat on the arms of Israel.[362] He dismissed claims of vict
